Air Liquide provides Aramco nitrogen to the work of oil production
Saudi ARAMCO said yesterday it had signed with Air Liquide Arabic, finally, long-term agreement to provide the nitrogen necessary for the production of the oil. Under the agreement will ''Air Liquide'' financing, design and create a special laboratory for sorting and production of industrial gases and the supply of nitrogen gas to a laboratory seawater injection of ''Saudi ARAMCO'' in the area of the village south of Dhahran, in a production capacity of ten million cubic feet per day of nitrogen gas. It will be the experimental operation of the plant in the fourth quarter of 2012. This agreement also includes providing other facilities for Saudi ARAMCO with 30 thousand gallons a day of liquid nitrogen.
The agreement, according to Saudi ARAMCO as part of its efforts to encourage the private sector to contribute to the provision of their material and support services through attracting investments of international companies to the domestic market, which in turn will lead to a domestic industry with high quality, and to contribute to the upgrading of the local economy and support his career.
Mr. Saad Al-Turiki, Vice President of Saudi ARAMCO for the Oil work in a business district south of the company, This contract will contribute to the achievement of a strategic partnership with the private sector by outsourcing some business support for oil production to the private sector because of its benefit to the parties, where get the company to service and product are of high quality, gets the qualified private sector investment opportunities offered by the company to them, thus contributing to the growth of the local economy of the Kingdom .
For his part, Dr. Abdel Aziz Jarbou Chairman of the Board of Directors of Air Liquide Arabic, that the agreement of long-term with ''Saudi ARAMCO'' a stage and an important event for Air Liquide and its Saudi partners, and expressed pride in Air Liquide Arab action to develop the project for the an internationally acclaimed company such as Saudi ARAMCO.
He added ''has shown executives and engineers at Saudi ARAMCO professionalism through their eagerness to achieve the objectives of the Convention in all its aspects, which reflects the keenness of Saudi ARAMCO to open for the participation of private sector development projects adopted by the company's ambitious''.
